Sharing the frissons is what tumblr is for, I find. I often read LMB with an almost rictus-like grin on my face, caught up in the moment, enjoying the world - and there’s nobody to talk to about it IRL - but here we all are!

And ditto on the Cryoburn. When I figured out Alliance was set a few years earlier, I had the oddest mixture of disappointment - and bone-deep relief.

Finally letting myself read Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance, I’m less than a page in and I’m already in love. It starts the way all the best Ivan fanfic starts, with Ivan saying “Go away, Byerly” and By coming in anyway! Oh my goodness, I can’t believe I let this sit on my shelf for a whole week. SO EXCITED.
