DD9 Fic Thing: Out of Place

Title: Out of Place
Rating: probably totally G, actually
Some 7,000 words. what is wrong with me
Summary: Set in Deep Dish Nine AU-land, a freak transporter accident switches DS9 and DD9 Garak’s places. While Deep Space Nine Garak is locked in Deep Dish Nine Garak’s apartment, he investigates his Human self through his mundane possessions.
Complete in the sense of ‘this chunk of writing has satisfied me in some way,’ but a lot, a lot, a lot is left open here. This is perhaps more exploratory than anything else. A little sad, a little sweet, a lot mundane. Not as something as I wanted it, but close.
This is most definitely for Tinsnip, for it is laced with nearly everything she’s ever said she enjoyed during our big tumblr conversations.
