Me, I’m… huh, this is kind of hard. I guess I identify a bit with Bashir in his geekiness and desire to please…? His need to be praised–that’s a thing. And his arrogance. But I don’t like interacting with people nearly as much as he does; I’d much rather hole up with a good book. Maybe I’m Bashir when he’s overtired.
And you’re Dukat, you say? Okay–but are you kind-of-okay season 4 Dukat? Or jackass-in-jackboots season 1 Dukat? Or (hopefully not) totally nucking futs Season 6 and onward Dukat? Curious minds demand answers.

Thank you so much for enabling me, you bunch of happy assholes. It’s with one-hundred percent honesty and joyful appreciation that I say that all of you in the DS9 Tumblr fandom have changed my life. Before meeting you, I hadn’t written since I was… mmm, twenty? And now I write a little every day.
Thank you all so much for encouraging me, and for the feedback and the impetus to be better. It’s made a difference I can’t express.
Is tumblr bringing back DS9? Is that what’s going on? Is it netflix?
It seems like there are all these new young fans whenever I look at the DS9 tags and I’m astounded. For years DS9 was like the red-headed step-child of Star Trek. I couldn’t find anyone else who was into it besides my sister and a select few friends. Now I’m getting DS9 gifs on my dash from people I didn’t even follow for Star Trek.
Who do I thank for this? Where do I send the imaginary cookies?

Flyer has gotten me addicted to Deep Space 9 - One more of his obsessions. And I must admit I am in love with it. So in the near future there may very an influx of trekkie things on here :)

Do Cardassian women take the last name of their husband when they marry? Can’t be vice versa because otherwise Skrain Dukat would’ve been Skrain something else, and Garak explicitly calls his father a Dukat as well in ASIT.
