…[W]hen it comes to Lwaxana I am firmly in the love camp, partly because she is played with something I can only describe as a “shrewd dippiness” by Gene Roddenberry’s wife Majel Barrett (who is also the voice of all the Federation computers), and partly because all of the other characters react like they’re in some sort of race to see who can get the farthest away from her without being rude, and it’s delightful.
