Oooooh!!! No I think I will do language barrier sherlock!!

Because at one time we had Normans, Saxons and Vikings all living in the same country and no one could understand one another so we got all these cool words like “cake" and “shy" were Viking I think which is really cool and you get Norman words as well like Castle and Saxon words like Cow and Pig but then Pork and Beef are Norman words because one only ever saw the animal alive in the field and the other only on their plate.

And then because there are so many language influences we got loads of words which have the same meaning like most languages have one way of saying “big" like in German you say “Gross" for like Height and Size and there may be other ways of saying Big but I haven’t heard them but in English you can say like

Big, Large, Giant, Huge, Enormous, Gigantic and to some extent Tall

And then it goes the same for small like you can have

Small, Tiny, Little, short

And I feel like our language is one of the most interesting things about our culture because it just shows how we’re all a bunch of immigrants.
