There’s something enormously satisfying about my mapping process. I love drawing walls and annotating squares, even though I know I’m recording all this detail for no one. Why do I need to know that this square had a treasure chest when I’ve already opened it and I’ll never be coming back? Who am I making these maps for, exactly? Not you; there are already dozens of examples of the maps online, probably more accurate than I’m making. Not myself; in the unlikely event that I ever play this game a second time, I’ll almost certainly throw away the maps and create them anew. But purposeless as they are, I wouldn’t dream of not making them. The enticement of one more square, one more room, one more corridor is what turns midnight to 03:30 in what seems like seconds. It’s possible that I’m more addicted to mapping than the game itself.
'blorbo from my shows' this 'blorbo from my shows' that. well what about blorbo from HER shows 🤨
[ID: A simply coloured digital comic featuring Maya Fey and Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney. In the first panel we see a computer screen open to a text document which reads, "'Thanks to you I am saddled with unneeded feelings,' said the Evil Magistrate before kissing the Steel Samurai with". The text cuts off. In the second panel, we see Maya typing the above into a computer with a concentrated smile. Phoenix is leaning down behind her, wearing an extremely confused expression. In the last panel, he asks, "What the hell are you writing?" as Maya reels back in surprise, shouting "AH" as one hand smacks out to cover the computer screen. End ID.]
