I am -amazed- at your tenacity. The only Trek novel I ever read in one day was Q-In-Law, which was about as light-hearted and goofy as it gets. (I mean, Q and Lwaxana Troi) This one sounds like it would have taken me a year to never to get through.
You know, I have the most incredible fondness both for that book and for most of the works of Peter David. I remember in my childhood thinking, what is he doing differently…? Oh. I know. He’s making them _people._
And I just love that book.

And dude, I go hard or I go home, especially when it’s Elim Garak and it’s paper in my hands. I dawdled over ASIT because I had it as an e-book, and it just wasn’t wildly satisfying that way. Any year now my paperback copy should apparently arrive, and I plan a re-read.
