You're reading Hollow Men! I think you'll like it - I enjoyed it very much, though the B-plot's a little forgettable. As may be obvious Una McCormack is my favourite Garak writer, and I think this is the book where he's most like he is in the show. Not that I don't love post-canon Cardassia to pieces, but there's a lot of character development between the end of DS9 and, say, The Crimson Shadow. Plus it's just a very fun novel and might even inspire some fic~ (said Gabe, not hinting at anything)

Can’t wait. Random page flipping has yielded me a Garak who is in one sentence astonished by swans and in the very next bitching that Starfleet security didn’t break any of his fingers. You know. To show they’re serious.
