I have not posted about dumplings beyond an old drawing, so I’ll spare conversation about those but I was talking elsewhere about Julian’s scarf last night, and that I wanted it to be something he just becomes increasingly more fond of.  Brings it in his bag some days when he doesn’t really need it, or even forgets it’s in there, and then suddenly he’s fishing around for something and there’s some soft blue thing and he is just pleasantly reminded of Garak. And then he’s wearing it all the time and Miles is just sideeyeing the shit out of it even harder.

Meanwhile, how delighted is Garak when he sees Julian in the thing at any point from there on out? I have a plan for a few other items he gives to Julian that just turn them both into total dorks when they’re worn~  The white sweater I pixeled the other night being one of them, because Julian looks unexpectedly lovely in it? It was an accident and now I’m just like ~*~*SWEATERS*~*~

One day, Julian is going to realize he’s wearing like 60% Garak gifts but it will be some day he shows up to play games with Miles or something and only after Miles opens the door, sees him and just swears a little. 

And after a while, Miles thinks everything is from Garak and Julian’s just like, “I… got it…for school?” because it’s a planner or something.  Or like, ‘Oh, did he get you those jeans, too?’  ”No, that’d be weird.”  Says the man wearing a scarf and a sweater and a coat and probably a Garak-mended t-shirt and shoulder bag.
