I have a few wrap-up magazines from the final season of DS9…I had to be very careful not to cry all over ‘em as I was inconsolable for the first few months.  Stories from the wrap party always make me simultanously happy and sad.  I think the best quote from the DS9 Companion write-up about it was from JG Hertzler, ‘one day you’re Chancellor of the Klingon Empire, the next you’re in the background…’

And the stories about Jeff and Casey trying to get into as many scenes as possible, hahahahahaha <3

Star Trek Universe textbooks

_{so the other day I started thinking about starfleet academy and the kind of……e-textbooks bones would have there….because I…think about these things and basically I got kind of carried away?? also I am like 99% sure that mccoy’s thesis was over the management of aviophobia I mean come on}

your favorite ship has to file taxes and it’s mad frustrating and creates relationship friction but they get it done and it’s a bonding experience they laugh about later. also eventually they will both die.

Prologue: they try to buy a house and start crying when they have to interpret the Truth in Lending Act form.

Sequel: They remodel the kitchen. They get three completely different bids from contractors, half of the new appliances and countertop finishes are back-ordered or broken, and they end up eating takeout Chinese on the floor for six weeks longer than expected.

And they are always, always too tired to have sex.
