Cosmetic surgery is clearly very easy in the Federation. Easy enough that one can become a Klingon with almost no prep time. Or switch genders. And heck, if it’s that easy to switch genders, and if you’ve always been curious about how the other half lives but you don’t really want to switch the rest of your body… why not just switch genitals?
