Star Trek DS9 3x20 “Improbable Cause.” I could probably watch a whole show that was just Dr. Bashir and Garak debating the finer points of classic literature. “I just don’t see what’s so great about Shakespeare. I knew Brutus would kill Caesar in Act 1. That’s not a tragedy, that’s a farce!” Garak’s interpretation of children’s literature is equally delightful.
Only if they have to kiss every time they get too ridiculously close to each other.
Then they have to return to their starting positions.
They are interrupted more and more frequently as the debate gets more heated and they close the distance faster and faster. Eventually they stop breaking apart but continue to murmur arguments every time they stop for breath.
