See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Oh, and speaking of Doctor Who, poor Martha! Be sure to update us on your opinion once you hit the end of her run; it's hard to tell in retrospect, but I think the way she left the TARDIS influenced my opinion of her a great deal. (For the positive.)

I hear she does exactly what she ought. I look forward to seeing it. (And to the arrival of Donna, love of my life~~~)

FYI, the attribution doesn't seem to show up on your page, but on my dash, I could definitely see who the submission was from. (The top of the post said "thedragonsire submitted to tinsnip.") So if you can't see it right away, you should at least be able to see it once it's up.

How funny!

I received, posted, and commented on the submission via the tumblr mobile app, which sometimes omits crucial informative details. Perhaps this is one.

Thanks for the heads-up, anyway!

B5's CGI didn't age very well, no, but they were also pioneers in using it for TV. (IIRC, it also gets better.) As far as Commander Sinclair, JMS was finally able to reveal last May exactly what caused Michael O'Hare's departure. O'Hare started having paranoid delusions during the first season, the hallucinations getting dramatically worse by midway through filming, and asked to be written out to focus on his mental health. As they'd agreed, JMS kept O'Hare's secret until his death.

Goodness, I had no idea! Poor fellow. I can’t imagine. That was kind of JMS, and also nobody’s business, so good job there.

I don’t mind the CGI. If I can watch TOS, I can watch Bab5. Someday!

"Because I’m certainly not tired of sweet young things pining after the Doctor!" I actually liked the Rose/Martha/Donna contrast. With Rose, it was mutual interest (albeit interest the Doctor would never act on, for reasons discussed in "School Reunion"). With Martha, it was one-way, with the Doctor mostly oblivious to how inconsiderate he was being (with it intentionally written that way, not a mere consequence of male writers). And with Donna (lovely Donna!), it was just two best friends.

I’m looking forward to seeing all of this play out!

In which case! [Inre a male companion:] As an adjunct to a pretty lady, yes. By himself, no. And I don’t hold out hope for it happening any time soon, so long as Moffat is still running the show. [Inre "Rivals":] This is today’s STRW episode! WG and I actually commented on the fact that he is strapped the fuck down.

Ah, Moffat. I hope to just slide on through those eps. Mr. snip is totally unfamiliar with the whole Who fandom, so he’s my touchstone for this stuff. I look to him for an ‘untarnished’ reaction, as it were. (Makes for good arguments.)

And re: Rivals–oh boy~! Yeah, I totally didn’t look at his body when he wore that jumpsuit, so I really can’t speak to the topic, she said, studying her nails.

[Inre Donna:] Some people got really critical of Donna being shouty in “The Runaway Bride.” But, dude, you just got teleported onto an alien spacecraft literally in the middle of your wedding: you’re telling me you wouldn’t be shouty? [Inre Jamie:] If you have U.S.-based streaming Netflix, he’s in the second Doctor serial “The Mind Robber,” which is part of the Classic Who they currently have available.

Nah, it worked for me. I mean, was it abrasive as hell? Yes. Thing is that I’m quite sure she meant it to be abrasive as hell. She was pissed off. So I could give her that.

Huh, okay. We’ll have to check it out someday. I would like to see Jamie, but we’ve just started the new season with Martha, and I don’t want to disrupt the wa.
