How does wandering a western desert
help me travel to an island far to the east? Because I need to pick
up a shoe to throw at a cat so a rat will save me when I’m trapped in
a cellar – otherwise I won’t have a leg of lamb to give to an eagle
so he’ll carry me to a beach when I’m captured by a roc. That’s why!

Two very important questions about King’s Quest III:

1. Okay, so we agree that Mannanan had “Gwydion” kidnapped from his family as an infant. Yes? Yes. So who raised him? Mannanan? Mannanan changed his diapers and fed him for a few years until he could lift a broom?

Or did he leave him with a wet nurse in the village, while the previous Gwydion kept working away, unaware that his replacement was learning to walk just a few miles away?

Yeek.

Didn’t see any babies in the villlage this time… has Mannanan got his eyes on Little Bear?

2. Given that Mannanan has the ability to cast a spell that lets him understand the speech of animals, AND given that he has a cat that hates Gwydion and follows him around and watches everything he does,

how the hell did he get caught by surprise?

Lazy, lazy, lazy wizard!

If you eat the custard pie at any time, you will be unable to replace it, thus rendering yourself defenseless against the yeti.
