See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

kitkat-bar asked:

So if one were to want to get into reading Wodehouse, is there a particular place one should start, or do I just begin at the beginning, or is it more like Pratchett where there's little sets, or--?

You can start anywhere. Literally anywhere.

Jeeves and Wooster exist mostly in the Genteel Interbellum, and time never really passes. Everything happens at once. Mostly. Grab a story, any story. Bertie will quickly sum up anything you might need to know, and then you’re right away into the fun.

Starting with the shorts is nice, because the plots are quick and easy and you can get used to Wooster-tongue. Then you can chew into a book and enjoy how Bertie is screwed six ways from Sunday before the story even starts, oh, it’s super delightful.

Why not start here? It has the advantage of being free! And then if you like it, oh, my, there’s a lot more!

breathes on this. do the big bang with me come on we can inspire each other. although i am very impressed by that list ngl.

Oh, I’m big-bangin’. I wasn’t sure for a while, and then I thought, well, I have this really silly-ass G/B idea rattling around, maybe I can trot it out…? It seems like a good excuse to get it written!

And don’t be impressed, be, like, wary. This is not a road you want to go down. My wip folder is too many screens.

I once read a quote that said, and I paraphrase, that the very worst piece of shit ever published is better than the very best novel concept you have in your head. Why? Because it got published. While the novel concept is still just a concept. It don’t exist ‘til you make it exist.

I want to make all of these things exist… but I’ve got to do it one bit at a time!

(wow you got words dumped on you, sorry!)

yo he was too distracted being manipulative to be a tailor YOU CAN ONLY DO SO MANY THINGS AT ONCE.

Your point is sound. I like the idea of him having to switch off the one in order to do the other.
“And THEN we’ll swap the real chip for the false chip, after which we’ll contact the Klingon representative and– do you know, you have a loose thread there. Just a moment.”
‘You were saying about the Klingon–“
"NOT NOW.”
