Based on the episode, “Children of Time”, the crew of the Defiant is stranded 200 years in the past on a world they affectionately call Gaia - but for obvious reasons not everyone is happy about the situation. Gaia is not a forgiving planet, and if the crew doesn’t end up killing each other, the elements certainly well. With no Starfleet to back them up, the senior staff have their work cut out for them as they try to build a new life in the hostile environment.
Meanwhile, Julian Bashir is forced to confront traumas both old and new, and begins to question his feelings for a certain Cardassian who stowed away on the Defiant.
