My sewing room has been upside down because we installed my daughter in it. I’ve now got her much smaller room - but I can set it up however I like. Of course, that is turning out to be a bit of a process…

It’ll keep going, don’t worry!  It’s all been written since tinsnip is in charge of that bit,  I have all the illustrations I need to make and where they’re going to be placed planned out in a heavily color-coded version of the final writing, and I’ve started on the illustrations for the next bit.  It’s literally just up to how quickly my garbage ass gets shit done and I was taken by surprise by the ferocity of my B5 feelings and then Gallifrey happened.   I have a Banshee painting I’d like to do for tradition’s sake and an anniversary image for my SWAN stuff going on this week so I can try to get it done in time for the 22nd, but after this weekend, I’m going to aim for getting a few more of the illustrations done for ‘What Ho’.  

And poor DD9 isn’t really frozen either, it’s just been subject to the same thing!  it’s an illustrated - and slightly animated! - bit, and I’ve had to make up a bunch of cultural references and re-imagine some things that have been accepted in our culture for a few thousand years haha, so it’s taken a long time.  I’m not going to pretend that it has been worked on constantly since I started it and that it hasn’t been affected by my enthusiasm for other things, but it’s been worked on recently, and the written bit of it just has a few connecting holes that need to be filled in.   Like wordy potholes.

I’m glad you’re watching Jeeves, though, all that aside!  

It is a biiiiiit embarrassing how much Garak/Bashir mileage I’m getting out of this song. Why can’t I link them to indie rock or something? Something with cred?

…meh, fuck it; it’s super fun. Bashir gets the first verse, Garak gets the second, and the rap is totally irrelevant but Miss Nicki owns it.
